The reactivity of an organic peroxide is usually given by its half life (t1/2) at various
temperatures. For LQ-CUP in chlorobenzene:
t 0.1 hr 1 hr 10 hr
at 195℃ 166℃ 140℃

Acetophenoen, 2-phenyisopropanol, Methane,
。Storage
For LQ-CUP Ts max.= 40℃ and
Ts min. = -30℃
。Packaging and transport
The standard packaging is a 25-liter HDPE can for 25 kg peroxide solution or a 220-liter HDPE
drum for 200 kg peroxide solution.
LQ-CUP is classified as Organic peroxide type F, liquid; Division 5.2; UN 3109; PG II.
。Application
LQ-CUP may be used for various polymerization reactions. It can be used in emulsion solution
and bulk polymerizations.
When no accelerators are used effective polymerization can be obtained in the temperature
range of 50-200℃. For example, styrene and methyl methacrylate can be bulk polymerized in
the temperature rang of 60-100 0Cusing LQ-CUP.
In emulsion processes, CUP may be activated by organic-soluble or water-soluble reducing
agent as well as by metal compound to achieve polymerization at room temperature or lower.
LQ-CUP is especially developed for the cure of vinylester or phenacryl resins in combination
with a cobalt accelerator.
