。Half life data
The reactivity of an organic peroxide is usually given by its half life (t1/2) at various
 temperatures. For LQ-BCHPC in chlorobenzene:

 t      0.1 hr 1 hr 10 hr
 at 82℃       64℃ 48℃

。Storage
 LQ-BCHPC Ts max.= 20℃  and
Ts min. = 0℃ to prevent freezing

。Major decomposition products
 Carbon dioxide, 4-tert-Butyl-cyclohexanol

。Packaging and transport
Standard packaging cartons size for LQ-BCHPC is 20 kg(4X5kg peroxide) net.
Smaller packaging size is available on request.

Perkadox 16-W40 is classified as Organic peroxide type C; solid temperature controlled
Division 5.2; UN 3114; PG II.
Rail (RID) and air (ICAO-TI/IATA-DGR) transport are forbidden.

。Application

Polymerization of vinylchloride
LQ-BCHPC is applied as an initiator for the suspension polymerization of vinylchloride in the
temperature range between 40℃ and 65℃.
