。Half life data
The most important characteristic of a crosslinking peroxide is its decomposition rate
expressed by its half life (t) at various temperatures.
For LQ-BPIB in a EPDM compound:
 t     0.1 hr 1 hr 10 hr
 at 169℃ 146℃ 117℃
 For LQ-BPIB Ts max. = 30℃

。Major decomposition products
 Methane, Acetone, tert-Butanol, Di(2-hydroxyisopropyl)benzene, Diacetylbenzene, Acetyl 2-
 hydroxyisopropyl benzene.

。Packaging and transport
The standard packaging is a box for 25 kg peroxide formulation.
Both packaging and transport meet the international regulations. For the availability of
other packed quantities consult your Lanzhou Auxiliary Agent Plant sales office.
LQ-BPIB is exempted as Organic peroxide, Division 5.2.

Keep away from open fire, sparks and other sources of heat or ignition. Avoid contact with
reducing agents (e.g. amines), acids, alkalis and heavy metal compounds (e.g. accelerators,
driers and metal soaps). Please refer to the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for further information
on the safe storage, use and handling of LQ-BPIB This information should be thoroughly
reviewed prior to acceptance of this product.

。Applications

Rubber compounds containing LQ-BPIB have excellent scorch safety, under certain conditions
 one step mixing is possible.
